Flincky Mouse and Her New Home LITE app for iPhone and iPad

"Flincky Mouse and Her New Home" is an application that teaches children how to read with the use of the global method. The child listens to a friendly, simple story, creates elements of the world of the nice Flincky Mouse and, at the same time, is introduced to the world of first words.

The learning to read method used in the application was inspired by the Doman (global) method which is used all over the world. It consists in reading entire words to the child at an indicated tempo and in a repeating cycle. In this story, the child learns to read, recognize words through viewing and listening to a reading session displayed on the screen after touching the book icon.

The application teaches words also found in the text of the story. The effectiveness of this method is connected with frequency and the form of the game. If the child will reach for the game and select the reading session often, then they will learn to read using entire words.

The game is constructed in such a manner so that the child can check their skills and obtain awards after each session.

The application produced by Coolphonic Studio is aimed firstly at kindergarteners, but it can also be used by younger children as well as children just starting school.
